The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
this fall!
Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee has charmed audiences across the country with its effortless wit and humor. Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny and touching book by Rachel Sheinkin and a truly fresh and vibrant score by William Finn, this bee is one unforgettable experience.
An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vies for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life-unaffirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.

Cabaret 2027
This year, Ridley students from both the middle school and high school shows will participate in a Broadway Cabaret featuring solo performances from both the RMS and RHS school musicals, additional solo and group performances, and choreographed dances from our Spring Musical Workshop!
Ridley Drama hopes to continue to build this event moving forward, supporting our mission to vertically team our schools in the performing arts and produce opportunities for Ridley School District Students to collaborate and support each other in their artistic endeavors!
