CURRENT PRODUCTION
AUDITION INFORMATION AND DIRECTIONS:
Auditions for the Spring Musical will take place on Jan. 23-25. Please understand that RDG puts on one large and one smaller show per year, usually a musical and a play. This year, we have pivoted to two musicals in order to complete our fundraising push for the sound system. The second musical however, will still be a SMALLER SHOW, and thus, if you want to make the cast you must put your BEST FOOT FORWARD and come PREPARED to audition well.
There will be MANY other spots on the technical and house crews who also desperately need people for anyone who doesn't make the cast of the spring show, so find ways to stay involved if you do not.
This is like a varsity team- there are no guarantees (even for seniors) and the show does not support a large cast as it is written. Come with your A game. MUSIC WILL NOT BE TAUGHT TO THE GENERAL POPULATION ON AUDITION DAY. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARING YOUR INITIAL AUDITION BARS YOURSELF.
We will also check eligibility, citizenship, first show attendance, and your conflicts will weigh heavily into the decision making, since the run is back to the normal 8 weeks.

Auditions will take place as follows:
Thursday-3:30-5:30 Vocal AUDITIONS
Friday- 4-5PM DANCE REVIEW
5-6:30 Vocal AUDITIONS
Saturday 9AM-11:30AM
DANCE AUDITIONS
(Dance will only be taught/reviewed on Friday)
Monday- CALLBACKS/READINGS
