The auditions for Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella will take place on January 23-24, 2025 after school and January 25, 2025 beginning at 9 AM and continuing until 12PM. Callbacks will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025.  BAND students who cannot make Saturday as a result of District Band, will audition on Monday, Jan. 27th after school. 

•  Students should learn and practice the dance BEFORE the audition.  The "Teaching recap" for dance will take place on FRIDAY, from 3-4:30PM only. Saturday will be only a warm-up and the audition process.  Students in Rhapsody should see Gabby as soon as rehearsal is over. 

• Students should choose a general selection musical piece from the four offered. In order to be considered for a lead, students should audition the general piece in the way they would if the audition were a callback for a lead.  

  • This means as off book as possible, with consideration to movement and acting choices​

  • Music will NOT be taught for the general audition. Come with your pieces rehearsed and prepared.  Choose the piece that best suits your voice and shows your range.  

• Scenes will be read at the callback auditions, but will NOT be posted ahead of time. We are looking for adaptability, ability to learn and read quickly, and foundational actings skills required in scene work. ​
